Our Bollywood Dimensions troupe is made up of experienced dancers who perform in Canberra the surrounding region. This group is different from other Bollywood performance groups in Canberra due to their choreography, training and extensive experience.  Each of our dancers has their own style and training in numerous forms of Indian dance including, Bollywood, Semi-classical, Bharatnatyam, Odissi, Kathak, Bhangra, Dandiya and Garba, as well as training beyond the Indian dance styles including Hip hop, Contemporary, Latin, Jazz, Bellydane, Tap and Ballet.  Bring all these elements together and you have a group of dancers working in unison with a unique fusion style. Our troupe has performed at hundreds of community, public, private and charity events since its beginning in 2003.

Our most notable work includes:

​

• We have appeared as Semi-finalists on ‘Australia’s got talent’, been guests on ‘The prime possum show’ and appeared in a commercial for the Belconnen fresh food markets.

• Our performance troupe competed at the ground breaking BollyAus Nationals in 2019.

• Our dancers have trained with Urvashi Gandhi of Dance India Dance fame and Shrita Baskar of the Taraana Kathak Academy in India.

• We have danced on stage with famous Bollywood singer Udit Narayan.

• We have also performed on stage for Farah Khan, Prabhu Deva, Kangana Ranaut, Imran Khan, Karan Johar and Malika Arora Khan at the Telstra Bollywood dance competition.  At the same competition our junior performance troupe came 2nd runners up in 2013 and our senior performance troupe won the people’s choice award in 2014, 2015 and again in 2016.

• We have won 1st place at the Indian Australian Dancing  competition in 2015 and were People's Choice at the same competition in 2016.

• We have been nominated for two Canberra Area Theatre Awards in 2016, one for Best Costuming and the other for Best Dance Production, both for the stage show Mor Bani.

• We have proudly produced and starred in 12 stage shows including Anarkali, Devdas, Mor Bani and Dard-E-Dosti.

• We perform yearly for the National Multicultural Festival, The Canberra Diwali Mela, Parramatta's Deepavali fair and numerous other community and private functions.
